Royce Ruiz
Pastor
Royce Ruiz serves as a Pastor at Redeemer Church and has been serving in the Decoto neighborhood of Union City for nearly a decade with a deep desire to see a faithful, rooted church presence in the community. He is also involved in Redeemer’s church planting efforts, supporting and encouraging new gospel work throughout the Bay Area. He holds a Master of Divinity from Gateway Seminary (2021).
Royce is passionate about the local church as a people shaped by ordinary rhythms of life-meals, prayer, and presence-through which God forms His people. He enjoys cooking, making coffee, working with his hands, biking, and watching baseball. He and his wife, Deanna, have two children, Jake and Adelynn, and their life is centered around shared meals, making memories, and being present in their community.
Ricky Blaha
Pastor
Ricky moved to Fremont in 2014 to help plant Redeemer Church, where he has served as a Pastor since its inception. He has served in a variety of ministry contexts across the East Coast, including youth, worship, and itinerant ministries. He also takes classes through Gateway Seminary and hosts both the Fremont Podcast and the Bay Area Theology Podcast.
Ricky loves people and leading them to worship God with their whole lives. He is passionate about helping others develop rhythms and routines that form them into lovers of God and their neighbors, and he finds joy in helping them discover who God has made them to be. He enjoys adventuring throughout California with his wife, Karlyn, and their two sons, Hudson and Leland-and is also a devoted Green Bay Packers fan.
Daniel Adams
Pastoral & Administrative Assistant
Daniel Adams serves as the Pastoral and Administrative Assistant at Redeemer Church. He has served in a variety of ministry contexts, including teaching high school Bible and leading on-campus college ministry. He recently completed his Master of Divinity from Gateway Seminary (2025) and plans to pursue doctoral studies in biblical studies.
Daniel is passionate about teaching and discipling others to understand and love the Scriptures, especially in seeing both the overarching story of the Bible and the richness of its details. He enjoys reading, taking long walks, and discovering new foods with his wife, Mikailah, and their two children, Theodore and Ianna.
